Privacy Policy

GemGen respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information used by GemGen Authoring Studio and related GemGen services.
This Privacy Policy explains how GemGen Authoring Studio accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you connect your Google account and use the application to create, manage, and publish content to Blogger.
By using GemGen Authoring Studio, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. About GemGen Authoring Studio

GemGen Authoring Studio is a content-authoring and publishing tool designed to help authorized users create, organize, preview, and publish image-generation prompt content to the GemGen website.
The application can connect to Google Blogger through Google OAuth so that authorized users can create drafts, publish posts, update existing posts, retrieve post information, and manage GemGen content without manually copying and pasting content into Blogger.
Images selected by the user may be uploaded to GemGen's media storage infrastructure and used in Blogger posts.

2. Google Account and Blogger Data We Access

When you choose to connect your Google account, GemGen Authoring Studio requests only the Google permissions required to perform its Blogger publishing functions.
Depending on the permissions granted, the application may access Blogger-related information such as your accessible blog information, blog identifiers, Blogger posts, drafts, published posts, labels, post URLs, publication status, and information necessary to confirm that your Google account is authorized to manage the GemGen blog.
GemGen Authoring Studio does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Photos, contacts, or other unrelated Google services unless such functionality is explicitly added in the future and separately disclosed to you.

3. How We Use Google User Data

Google user data accessed through OAuth is used only to provide the functionality that you explicitly request within GemGen Authoring Studio.
This includes authenticating your connection to Blogger, identifying the authorized GemGen blog, retrieving Blogger posts, creating Blogger drafts, publishing posts, updating existing posts, managing post metadata and labels, and displaying publication and synchronization information inside the Studio.
Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or unrelated purposes.

4. OAuth Tokens and Authentication

GemGen Authoring Studio uses Google OAuth 2.0 to authorize access to Blogger.
Authentication credentials such as OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are handled securely by the application's server-side infrastructure. Sensitive OAuth credentials are not intentionally exposed in the browser interface or included in published Blogger content.
Where persistent authorization is enabled, refresh tokens may be securely retained so that GemGen Authoring Studio can obtain new access tokens without requiring you to sign in every time you use the application.
You may revoke GemGen's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account security and connected-app settings.

5. Images and Cloudflare R2

When you select an image from your computer for use in a GemGen post, the image may be uploaded to GemGen's Cloudflare R2 media storage.
Uploaded media may be publicly served through GemGen's media domain so that images can appear correctly within Blogger posts and on the GemGen website.
The application may store the image filename, storage path, public media URL, file type, and related publishing metadata required to manage the media.
Users should upload only images they have the right to use and publish.
6. Prompt Content and Local Prompt Analysis
GemGen Authoring Studio includes local prompt-analysis features that can suggest titles, labels, categories, difficulty levels, prompt types, AI providers, and AI models.
This analysis is performed locally within the application using rule-based processing and does not require sending prompt content to an external artificial intelligence service.
GemGen does not use Google user data, Blogger data, prompt content, or uploaded images to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

7. Data Storage

GemGen stores only the information reasonably necessary to operate the application and provide publishing functionality.
Blogger content is primarily stored by Google Blogger. Media uploaded through GemGen Authoring Studio may be stored in Cloudflare R2. Authentication information may be stored securely for the purpose of maintaining an authorized session.
Local draft information may also be stored in your browser where the application provides local-draft functionality.

8. Data Sharing

GemGen does not sell Google user data, Blogger data, OAuth information, prompt content, or uploaded images.
Information may be processed by infrastructure providers only when necessary to provide the service. This includes Google for authentication and Blogger publishing, and Cloudflare for application hosting, security, networking, and media storage.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
We do not share Google user data with advertising networks, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

9. Google API Services User Data Policy

GemGen's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide or improve user-facing features that are visible and relevant to GemGen Authoring Studio's Blogger publishing functionality.
Google user data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

10. Data Retention

GemGen retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the application, maintain authorized sessions, operate publishing features, comply with legal obligations, or resolve security and technical issues.
OAuth authorization can be revoked by the user at any time.
If access is revoked, GemGen will no longer be able to use that authorization to access the user's Blogger account.
Content already published to Blogger or uploaded to GemGen's media storage may remain available until it is separately deleted from the relevant service.

11. Data Security

GemGen uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect authentication credentials and application data.
These protections may include encrypted connections, secure cookies, server-side credential handling, restricted access to infrastructure, and separation of public application data from authentication secrets.
No Internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, but GemGen seeks to limit data access to what is required for the operation of the service.

12. Your Choices and Rights

You may stop using GemGen Authoring Studio at any time.
You may revoke Google authorization through your Google Account settings.
You may also delete or modify Blogger content through Blogger, delete locally stored drafts from your browser, and request assistance concerning GemGen-managed data by contacting us.
Where applicable law provides additional privacy rights, you may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other appropriate action concerning information controlled by GemGen.

13. Children's Privacy

GemGen Authoring Studio is intended for users who are legally able to authorize access to the accounts and content they manage.
The application is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

GemGen may update this Privacy Policy when application functionality, data practices, legal requirements, or third-party integrations change.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
Material changes to the way Google user data is accessed, used, stored, or shared will be reflected in this Privacy Policy.
